Palm Wax
Why do I suggest palm wax?? In a word: sustainability. Palm is a tree crop that enhances biodiversity, uses very little water, and is GMO free and pest resistant. One acre of palm trees provides the same quantity of wax as 20 acres of soy beans. Sourced from Malaysia, Brazil, and Colombia, the palm wax in our pure vegetable palm wax candles is no threat to rainforests or orangutan ecosystems. Palm wax naturally makes gorgeous crystal patterns and looks incredible when it’s burning. Palm wax candles have a hard consistency give off more scent than soy wax candles, but they do tend to burn a bit hotter than soy.
**My palm wax is certified as sustainable, and is no-threat to the tropical rainforests!

Soy Wax
Soy Wax is a renewable resource grown and manufactured right here in the United States. There is a huge difference when you burn vegetable wax compared to paraffin wax. It is like comparing apples to oranges. Paraffin is a by-product of the oil industry, AKA crude oil.
Soy is completely non-toxic and non-carcinogenic, and soy candles produce little or no soot to damage the surrounding room or to those like us with allergies and breathing problems. Soy wax is environmentally safe, biodegradable and a renewable resource. It is easily cleaned up with just soap and hot water.
Soy candles also burn cooler than most paraffin wax candles, which will lessen the risk of serious burns from melted wax. They also burn up to 50% longer than paraffin wax candles which makes them more economical to use. The soy wax I use is pure and natural, without the use of any chemical additives. I do not use soy blends, only 100% pure soybean wax made in the USA. Soy Candles have a smooth, creamy appearance.
Why do i use multiple wicks in my candles?
The reason that i use multiple wicks in my larger jars is simple. The truth of the matter is, no matter how much we try, none of us are religious about following the 4 hour burn time each time we light our candles. Using multiple, smaller wicks helps ensure you get a full, even, clean burn without all of the smoke a larger wick can put off. As long as you keep your wicks trimmed to ¼ inch, your candles will burn no faster than a candle with a single wick.
